Review: During the holiday season this past year, I was in need of a new monitor. I had previously been using a gaming laptop, but wanted to upgrade to a gaming PC. So, I started looking for affordable monitors. At the time of purchase, I only paid around $85 for this monitor, so it was a great value for me at the time. This monitor runs great, displays at a crisp 1080p resolution, and offers plenty of room to see at the standard 1.78:1 aspect ratio. The monitor is light
at 8 pounds, and was designed to use less energy with the same crisp display. The power buttons are located neatly on the back, bottom right side of the monitor, featured in a double decker circular target-like shape, the center being power, the outliers being the various options. The one downside to this is when you want to mess with the settings, you have to turn the monitor all the way around just to see what you’re pressing. I’ve been using this for quite some time, and can definitely vouch for its quality. Ultimately, I would refrain from buying until the price comes down during a sale, but if it is on sale, it’s a great buy.
